- Ensure you know where to find the exits, first aid and fire safety equipment

- Some glazes contain toxic substances and must not be used for food vessels – check which are suitable
- Wet mop floor first, then sweep damp clay if needed
- Ask for assistance in lifting heavy items
- Use outside taps for washing hands and equipment
- Wash hands before consuming food and drink
- Pets are not permitted in the clubhouse, and must be supervised ensuring they present no hazard, if brought onto the grounds
- Potters should leave the premises by 5.00 pm on regular days
- Clayden Potters does not permit smoking in or around the clubhouse
- Everyone involved with the Club is encouraged to contribute to accident prevention by reporting potential risks or dangers on sighting
