Yep – we don’t have fairies! The clubhouse, garden, and sheds need cleaning and maintenance, and our only paid help is our mowing man – this keeps our fees affordable.
All members are expected to put in a small amount of time at each visit, to keep our studio nice and inviting. Ensure you leave your table, floor and anything borrowed clean, wiped and put away. Electric wet mop for floors, broom and dust pan are located in the bathroom area.
Our clubhouse must be left clean and tidy for the next group. Tables to be returned to normal layout, if changed for any reason.
Daily Duties include:
- Clean all work tables and leave clear of items.
- Wet mop inside club house, then sweep damp clay and pick up with dustpan, if needed. Dry sweeping, dusting & vacuuming is hazardous.
- Clean kitchen area, wash up and put away mugs, plates, etc
- Empty out tea and coffee pots, rinse and put away.
- Give the toilet and washbasin area a clean
- Sweep or use the leaf blower to tidy outside concrete areas.
- Wipe down outdoor surfaces; rinse all used cloths and leave out to dry
